Description:King Henry V of England has invaded France, and after a long siege to take Harfleur, the English are now attempting to reach Calais. However, a French army under command of Constable Charles d’'Albert is blocking the English from getting to their port. Can the French stop the English, or can England’s archers defeat France’s army, and clear the way to Calais? Rules are taught, and ok for under 12 to play if accompanied by a parent.

Description:1. Its not the “OK Coral”. Its anything goes Western shoot out game. All are welcome. And that includes the ladies and young-uns. The rules are easy to learn and the action is fast and furious. Players select their figures, get outfitted get a horse, choose up sides, make some plans (or not) and go at it. Bring your friends, bring your family or come in like “Lonesome Dove”. The Game is being played as a memorial to Maurice V. Holmes, Jr the co-author, long time GM, and dear friend.

Description:In 278 and 279 BC Celtic tribes under Brenus from the Danube Valley found their way into Northern Greece and Macedonia. There they heard of the riches of Delphi. So road trip to Delphi! When they got there the park was closed for renovation. Bummer. On the way home the Macedonian forces under King Ptolemy caught up to them and forced them into a battle. Phalanx, chariots, elephants and bare chested Celtic fanatics. Rules taught, beginers welcome, easy to learn.

The arena and cars were created by the late Jeff Lyczak, this event continues to be run in his honor.

On March 15, 1781, six years into the American Revolution, General Greene and Lord Cornwallis' troops faced off at a small courthouse community. This 2.5 hour battle would change the course of the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution.

Description:As the Japanese kept reinforcing their airfields in New Guinea the US in turn kept up the pressure by constantly attacking them. Today’s mission is one of these raids. P-38s lead the way for the B-25s, strafing and bombing the airstrip and facilities, taking out as many planes on the ground as they can. The Japanese put up resistance with their Sentais of Ki-43s and Ki-61s.

Description:So, who owns that dinosaur skeleton: the academics from Back East who just found it or the indians who have worshipped it as a sacred tribal relic for generations? Possession is nine-tenths of the law, so the academics have loaded the skeleton onto a wagon for the trip Back East. But the wagon trail runs right by the indian village. And they don’t plan to let the bones go without a fight. 
407 The Battle of Centla, March 28-29, 1519

Description:Cortes initially landed in Mesoamerica in the territory of the Maya. The arrival of the Conquistadores was not received well by the Maya who viewed them as outsiders and enemies to be expelled by force. The Maya that first encountered Cortes were led by Tabscoob, a Maya-Chontal Indian chief. Tabscoob tried to overwhelm these strangers with massed attacks. These attacks culminated in the Battle of Centla – where less than 500 Spaniards defeated an attacking force of an estimated 40,000 Maya. The Conquistadores’ black powder weapons held the attackers at bay. The use of these unknown means of warfare demoralized the attackers and the Maya sued for peace. Will Cortes or Tabscoob win this time?
All players 16 and older welcome.

Description:Summer 1918 pitted the best vs the best in the sky over France. RAF veterans in their SE5as came up against German aces in their vaunted Fokker DVIIs time and time again. Today’s mission has a hunter flight of RAF scouring the front for German observation planes. Whenever they do find them they know there will be Fokkers around.

Description:Russia, having just experienced the devastating breakup of the Soviet Union, throws all caution to the wind and invades the breakaway Baltic States. NATO, led by the US, pushes its armored forces to their relief. Will the new US M1 Abrams and M2 Bradley prevail over the Russian T-80s, BMP-3s, and other vehicles on a battlefield of rolling hills and scattered forests?

Description:29 Nov 1943 - the British have launched Operation Crusader in an attempt to relieve the besieged town of Tobruk and destroy Rommel's Afrika Korp. British forces have broken out of the siege, and the 4th & 6th New Zealand Brigades have captured the strategic escarpments to the southeast. But they must now hold off a fierce counterattack by two panzer divisions supported by infantry, artillery, and the Italian Ariete division. British armoured brigades drive to join the battle before their forces can be driven from the ridge and back to Tobruk.

507 The Battle of Lake Texcoco

Description:To seize control of the Aztec island capital of Tenochtitlan, Cortes realized that he needed to control the surrounding waters of Lake Texcoco. This meant building a fleet. To accomplish this, Cortes used scavenged lumber from his previously-scuttled seafaring vessels to build brigantines in pieces in Tlaxcala. These prefabricated pieces were then man-portaged
by his Tlaxcalan allies to the shore of Lake Texcoco. Here they were assembled, and made ready for combat on the lake. Cortes launched his brigantines to attack Tenochtitlan. In his way were hundreds of Aztecs warriors in war canoes waiting to swarm over the Spanish brigantines. The Aztecs are determined to stop them before they destroy their capital city - will they win this time?

Description:The naval battle of (Friday!) Nov 13, 1942 off Guadalcanal was a close run thing. But the Japanese were turned back. Two nights later they returned and the USN faced them with the survivors of the "Death Ride of the Cruisers". It was another close run thing. But what if they had instead tried a bigger roll of the dice and sent in everything they had left. It could have been a crippling defeat for Japan . . . or vice versa.

104 Killers on the Loose - Episode 2

Description:Otto von Casidor, the world famed Director, did not want to spend the money building a ship “set” for the next episode of his film, Killers on the Loose. Fortunately, he was able to get the owners of the luxury liner, SS Vaterland to allow the episode to be shot on their ship. The publicity would be wonderful for Germany and their ship line.
Last year Dr. Spindinsky was able to escape the swamp with his secret invention and elude the gangs and the mob. But still being in country (the USA) it was only a matter of time before he was tracked down and brought back - or eliminated. His solution - flee the country. But how? Enter the luxury liner, SS Vaterland and cruise in luxury while in disguise. Will the gangs find the diabolical doctor? Will the Germans running the ship intervene and what really is their port of call? And can the technical difficulties of shooting a film aboard a ship be overcome - really? Finally, will you still keep your job in the cast or are you out on the street looking for another film? Is that the end of your acting career? Play Killers on the Loose - Episode 2 and find out.
